Park for up to 3 hours free in the car park next door: just pop your registration into the machine inside the café.

Afternoon tea,

For birthdays, catch-ups or a Tuesday that needs cheering up. Ring us and we’ll arrange the day, the numbers and anything anyone can’t eat.

Afternoon tea is for two and needs 24 hours’ notice, so give us a ring to arrange it.

Our family story

Welcome to our little
family‑run bistro café!

We’re a husband-and-wife team who have lived locally all our lives, and this community has always been a big part of who we are. Family means everything to us, and we wanted to create somewhere that reflects our values: warmth, kindness, good food and a friendly atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

After spending 20 years working as a nurse, I decided to take a new path and follow my dream of owning a café. Caring for people has always been a huge part of my life, and I wanted to bring that same caring spirit into a place where people could come together, relax and enjoy time with the people they love.

When we bought the café, we wanted it to be more than just somewhere to eat and drink. We wanted it to feel like a home from home: a place for families to make memories, friends to catch up over coffee, and our wonderful local community to come together.

We also know that dogs are part of the family, too! That’s why we added our conservatory, creating a lovely dog-friendly space where you can enjoy a visit with your four-legged friends by your side.

Our hope is that everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome, whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee, enjoying a meal with family, meeting friends or stopping by with your beloved dog.
